A story worth sharing 4 years ago, an accident took my beloved away and very often I wonder, how does my wife, who is now in the heavenly realm, feel right now? She must be feeling extremely sad for leaving a husband who is incapable to taking care of the house and the kid 'cos that is the exact feeling that I have, as I feel that I have failed to provide for the physical and emotional needs of my child, and failed to be the dad and mom for my child. There was one particular day, when I had an emergency at work. Hence, I had to leave home whilst my child was still sleeping. So thinking that there was still rice leftovers, I hastily cooked an egg and left after informing my sleepy child. With the double roles, I am often exhausted at work as well as when I am home. So after a long day, I came home, totally drained of all energy. So with just a brief hug and kiss for my child, I went straight into the room, skipping dinner. However, when I jumped into my bed with intention of just having a well-deserved sleep, all I heard and felt was broken porcelain and warm liquid! I flipped open my blanket, and there lies the source of the 'problem'... a broken bowl with instant noodles and a mess on the bedsheet and blanket! Boy, was I mad! I was so furious that I took a clothes hanger, charged straight at my child who was happily playing with his toy, and give him a good spanking! He merely cried but not asking for mercy, except a short explanation: "Dad, I was hungry and there wasn't anymore leftover rice. But you were not back yet, hence I wanted to cook some instant noodles. But I remembered you reminding me not to touch or use the gas stove without any adults around, hence I turned on the shower and used the hot water from the bathroom to cook the noodles. One is for you and the other is for me. However, I was afraid that the noodles will turn cold, so I hid it under the blanket to keep it warm till you return. But I forgot to remind you 'cos I was playing with my toys...I am sorry Dad..." At that moment, tears were starting to run down my cheeks...but I didn't want my son to see his dad crying so I dashed into the bathroom and cried with the shower head on to mask my cries. After that episode, I went towards my son to give him a tight hug and applied medication on him, while coaxing him to sleep. Then, it was time to clear up the mess on the bed. When everything was done and well past midnight , I passed my son's room, and saw that he was still crying, not from the pain on his little buttock, but from looking at the photograph of his beloved mommy. A year has passed since the episode, I have tried, in this period, to focus on giving him both the love of his dad and mum, and to attend to most of his needs. And soon, he is turning seven, and will be graduating from kindergarten. Fortunately, the incident did not leave a lasting impression on his childhood memories and he is still happily growing up. However, not so long ago, I hit my boy again, with much regret. This time, his kindergarten teacher called, informing me of my son's absence from school. I took off early from work and went home, expecting him to explain. But he wasn't to be found, so I went around our house, calling out his name and eventually found him outside a stationery shop, happily playing computer games. I was fuming, brought him home and whack the hell out of him. He did not retaliate, except to say, 'I am sorry, Dad'. But after much probing, I realized that it was a 'Talent Show' organized by his school and the invite is for every student's mommy. And that was the reason for his absence as he has no mommy..... Time passes by very quickly, and soon another year has passed. It's winter, and its Christmas time. Everywhere the christmas spirit is in every passer-by...Christmas carols and frantic shoppers....but alas, my son got into another trouble. When I was about to knock off from the day's work, the post office called. Due to the peak season, the post master was also on an edgy mood. He called to tell me that my son has attempted to post several letters with no addressee. Although I did make a promise never to hit my son again, I couldn't help but to hit him as I feel that this child of mine is really beyond control. Once again, as before, he apologized, ' I'm sorry, Dad' and no additional reason to explain. I pushed him towards a corner, went to the post office to collect the letters with no addressee and came home, and angrily questioned my son on his prank, during this time of the year. His answer, amidst his sobbing, was : The letters were for Mommy. My eyes grew teary, but I tried to control my emotions and continued to ask him: " But why did u post so many letters, at one time?" My son's reply was: " I have been writing to mommy for a long time, but each time I reach out for the post box, it was too high for me, hence I was not able to post the letters. But recently, when I went back to the postbox, I could reach it and I sent it all at once..." After hearing this, I was lost. Lost at not knowing what to do, what to say.... I told my son, " Son, mommy is in the heavenly kingdom, so in future, if you have anything to tell her, just burn the letter and it will reach mommy. My son, on hearing this, was much pacified and calm, and soon after, he was sleeping soundly. On promising that I will burn the letters on his behalf, I brought the letters outside, but couldnt help opening the letter before they turn to ash. And one of the letters broke my heart.... Dear Mommy, I miss you so much! Today, there was a 'Talent Show' in school, and the school invited all mothers for the show. But you are not around, so I did not want to participate as well. I did not tell Dad about it as I was afraid that Dad would start to cry and miss you all over again. Dad went around looking for me, but in order to hide my sadness, I sat in front of the computer and started playing games at one of the shops. Dad was furious, and he couldn't help it but scolded and hit me, but I did not tell him the real reason. Mommy, everyday I see Dad missing you and whenever he think of you, he is so sad and often hide and cry in his room. I think we both miss you very very much. Too much for our own good I think. But Mommy, I am starting to forget your face. Can you please appear in my dreams so that I can see your face and remember you? I heard that if you fall asleep with the photograph of the person whom you miss, you will see the person in your dreams. But mommy, why haven't you appear? After reading the letter, I cant stop sobbing. 'cos I can never replace the irreplaceable gap left behind by my wife.... For the females with children: Don't do so much overtime. If you cannot finish the work, it must be some kind of problems within the company, and it is not your sole problem. Feedback to your boss. Endless overtime may not necessary be the answer to the problem. Take care of your health so that you can treasure and take care of your little precious. For the married men: Drink less, smoke less, cos nothing can replace your good health, not even business nor clients. Try thinking this way, are you able to work till your clients are totally dependent on you? or your boss is totally dependent on you? In this society, no one is indispensable. Take care of your health, so that you can take care of your little precious and your loved ones. For those singles out there: Beauty lies in loving yourself first. With confidence and loving yourself, you will see the beauty in other things around you. You will be able to work better and happier. Don't let your health be affected by your work or your boss, so nothing matters more than your well being.

Q Daddy, why did we have to attack Iraq ? A Because they had weapons of mass destruction. Q But the inspectors didn't find any weapons of mass destruction. A That's because the Iraqis were hiding them. Q And that's why we invaded Iraq ? A Yep. Invasions always work better than inspections. Q But after we invaded them, we STILL didn't find weapons of mass destruction, did we? A That's because the weapons are so well hidden. Don't worry, we'll find something, probably right before the 2004 election. Q Why did Iraq want all those weapons of mass destruction? A To use them in a war, silly. Q I'm confused. If they had all those weapons that they planned to use in a war, then why didn't they use any of those weapons when we went to war with them? A Well, obviously they didn't want anyone to know they had those weapons, so they chose to die by the thousands rather than defend themselves. Q That doesn't make sense. Why would they choose to die if they had all those big weapons with which they could have fought back? A It's a different culture. It's not supposed to make sense. Q I don't know about you, but I don't think they had any of those weapons our government said they did. A Well, you know, it doesn't matter whether or not they had those weapons. We had another good reason to invade them anyway. Q And what was that? A Even if Iraq didn't have weapons of mass destruction, Saddam Hussein was a cruel dictator, which is another good reason to invade another country. Q Why? What does a cruel dictator do that makes it OK to invade his country? A Well, for one thing, he tortured his own people. Q Kind of like what they do in China ? A Don't go comparing China to Iraq . China is a good economic competitor, where millions of people work for slave wages in sweatshops and help make US corporations richer. Q So if a country lets its people are exploited for American corporate gain, it's a good country, even if that country tortures people? A Right. Q Why were people in Iraq being tortured? A For political crimes, mostly, like criticizing the government. People who criticized the government in Iraq were sent to prison and tortured. Q Isn't that exactly what happens in China ? A I told you, China is different. Q What's the difference between China and Iraq ? A Well, for one thing, Iraq was ruled by the Ba'ath party, while China is Communist. Q Didn't you once tell me Communists were bad? A No, just Cuban Communists are bad. Q How are the Cuban Communists bad? A Well, for one thing, people who criticize the government in Cuba are sent to prison and tortured. Q Like in Iraq ? A Exactly. Q And like in China , too? A I told you, China 's a good economic competitor. Cuba , on the other hand, is not. Q How come Cuba isn't a good economic competitor? A Well, you see, back in the early 1960s, the US government passed some laws that made it illegal for Americans to trade or do any business with Cuba until they stopped being Communists and started being capitalists like us. Q But if we got rid of those laws, opened up trade with Cuba , and started doing business with them, wouldn't that help the Cubans become capitalists? A Don't be smart. Q I didn't think I was being one. A Well, anyway, they also don't have freedom of religion in Cuba. Q Kind of like China and the Falun Gong movement? A I told you, stop saying bad things about China . Anyway, Saddam Hussein came to power through a military coup, so he's not really a legitimate leader anyway. Q What's a military coup? A That's when a military general takes over the government of a country by force, instead of holding free elections like we do in the United States. Q Didn't the ruler of Pakistan come to power by a military coup? A You mean General Pervez Musharraf? Uh, yeah, he did, but Pakistan is our friend. Q Why is Pakistan our friend if their leader is illegitimate? A I never said Pervez Musharraf was illegitimate. Q Didn't you just say a military general who comes to power by forcibly overthrowing the legitimate government of a nation is an illegitimate leader? A Only Saddam Hussein. Pervez Musharraf is our friend, because he helped us invade Afghanistan . Q Why did we invade Afghanistan ? A Because of what they did to us on September 11th. Q What did Afghanistan do to us on September 11th? A Well, on September 11th, nineteen men - fifteen of them Saudi Arabians - hijacked four airplanes and flew three of them into buildings, killing over 3,000 Americans. Q So how did Afghanistan figure into all that? A Afghanistan was where those bad men trained, under the oppressive rule of the Taliban. Q Aren't the Taliban those bad radical Islamics who chopped off people's heads and hands? A Yes, that's exactly who they were. Not only did they chop off people's heads and hands, but they oppressed women, too. Q Didn't the Bush administration give the Taliban 43 million dollars back in May of 2001? A Yes, but that money was a reward because they did such a good job fighting drugs. Q Fighting drugs? A Yes, the Taliban were very helpful in stopping people from growing opium poppies. Q How did they do such a good job? A Simple. If people were caught growing opium poppies, the Taliban would have their hands and heads cut off. Q So, when the Taliban cut off people's heads and hands for growing flowers, that was OK, but not if they cut people's heads and hands off for other reasons? A Yes. It's OK with us if radical Islamic fundamentalists cut off people's hands for growing flowers, but it's cruel if they cut off people's hands for stealing bread. Q Don't they also cut off people's hands and heads in Saudi Arabia ? A That's different. Afghanistan was ruled by a tyrannical patriarchy that oppressed women and forced them to wear burqas whenever they were in public, with death by stoning as the penalty for women who did not comply. Q Don't Saudi women have to wear burqas in public, too? A No, Saudi women merely wear a traditional Islamic body covering. Q What's the difference? A The traditional Islamic covering worn by Saudi women is a modest yet fashionable garment that covers all of a woman's body except for her eyes and fingers. The burqa, on the other hand, is an evil tool of patriarchal oppression that covers all of a woman's body except for her eyes and fingers. Q It sounds like the same thing with a different name. A Now, don't go comparing Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. The Saudis are our friends. Q But I thought you said 15 of the 19 hijackers on September 11th were from Saudi Arabia . A Yes, but they trained in Afghanistan. Q Who trained them? A A very bad man named Osama bin Laden. Q Was he from Afghanistan ? A Uh, no, he was from Saudi Arabia too. But he was a bad man, a very bad man. Q I seem to recall he was our friend once. A Only when we helped him and the mujahadeen repel the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan back in the 1980s. Q Who are the Soviets? Was that the Evil Communist Empire Ronald Reagan talked about? A There are no more Soviets. The Soviet Union broke up in 1990 or thereabouts, and now they have elections and capitalism like us. We call them Russians now. Q So the Soviets - I mean, the Russians - are now our friends? A Well, not really. You see, they were our friends for many years after they stopped being Soviets, but then they decided not to support our invasion of Iraq , so we're mad at them now. We're also mad at the French and the Germans because they didn't help us invade Iraq either. Q So the French and Germans are evil, too? A Not exactly evil, but just bad enough that we had to rename French fries and French toast to Freedom Fries and Freedom Toast. Q Do we always rename foods whenever another country doesn't do what we want them to do? A No, we just do that to our friends. Our enemies, we invade. Q But wasn't Iraq one of our friends back in the 1980s? A Well, yeah. For a while. Q Was Saddam Hussein ruler of Iraq back then? A Yes, but at the time he was fighting against Iran , which made him our friend, temporarily. Q Why did that make him our friend? A Because at that time, Iran was our enemy. Q Isn't that when he gassed the Kurds? A Yeah, but since he was fighting against Iran at the time, we looked the other way, to show him we were his friend. Q So anyone who fights against one of our enemies automatically becomes our friend? A Most of the time, yes. Q And anyone who fights against one of our friends is automatically an enemy? A Sometimes that's true, too. However, if American corporations can profit by selling weapons to both sides at the same time, all the better. Q Why? A. Because war is good for the economy, which means war is good for America Also, since God is on America's side, anyone who opposes war is a godless un-American Communist. Do you understand now why we attacked Iraq? Q I think so. We attacked them because God wanted us to, right? A Yes. Q But how did we know God wanted us to attack Iraq ? A Well, you see, God personally speaks to George W. Bush and tells him what to do. Q So basically, what you're saying is that we attacked Iraq because George W. Bush hears voices in his head? A Yes! You finally understand how the world works. Now close your eyes, make yourself comfortable, and go to sleep. Good night. Good night, dad....!
Q Why did Iraq want all those weapons of more...

Praying on time, a very Powerful Story: He remembered his grandmother's warning about Praying on time: 'My son, you shouldn't leave prayer to this late time'. His grandmother's age was 70 But whenever she heard the Adhan, she got up like an arrow and performed Salah. . He, however could never win over his ego to get up and pray. Whatever he did, his Salah was always the last to be offered and he prayed it quickly To get it in on time. . Thinking of this, he got up and realized that there were only 15 minutes left before Salat-ul Isha. He quickly made Wudhu and performed Salat-ul Maghrib. While making Tasbih, he again remembered his grandmother and was embarrassed by how he had Prayed. His grandmother prayed with such tranquility and peace. . He began making Dua and went down to make Sajdah and stayed like that for a while. He had been at school all day and was tired, so tired. He awoke abruptly to the sound of noise and shouting. He was sweating profusely. He looked around. It was very crowded. Every direction he looked in was filled with people. Some stood frozen looking around, some were running left and right and some were on their knees with their heads in their hands just waiting. Pure fear and apprehension filled him as he realized where he was. His heart was about to burst. It was the Day of Judgment. When he was alive, he had heard many things about the questioning on the Day Of Judgment, but that seemed so long ago. Could this be something his mind made up? No, the wait and the fear were so great that he could not have imagined this. The interrogation was still going on. He began moving frantically from people to people to ask if his name had been called. No one could answer him. All of a sudden his name was called and the crowd split into two and made a passageway for him. Two angels grabbed his arms and led him forward. He walked with unknowing eyes through the crowd. The angels brought him to the center and left him there. His head was bent down and his whole life was passing in front of his eyes like a movie. He opened his eyes but saw only another world. The people were all helping others. He saw his father running from one lecture to the other, spending his wealth in the way of Islam. His mother invited guests to their house and one table was being set while the other was being cleared. He pleaded his case, 'I too was always on this path. I helped others. I spread the word of Allah. I performed my Salah. I fasted in the month of Ramadan. Whatever Allah ordered us to do, I did. Whatever he ordered us not to do, I did not.' He began to cry and think about how much he loved Allah. He knew that whatever he had done in life would be less than what Allah deserved and his only protector was Allah. . He was sweating like never before and was shaking all over. His eyes were fixed on the scale, waiting for the final decision. At last, the decision was made. The two angels with sheets of paper in their hands, turned to the crowd. His legs felt like they were going to collapse. He closed his eyes as they began to read the names of those people who were to enter Jahannam. His name was read first. He fell on his knees and yelled that this couldn't be, 'How could I go to Jahannam? I served others all my life, I spread the word of Allah to others'. His eyes had become blurry and he was shaking with sweat. The two angels took him by the arms. As his feet dragged, they went through the crowd and advanced toward the blazing flames of Jahannam. He was yelling and wondered if there was any person who was going to help him. He was yelling of all the good deeds he had done, how he had helped his father, his fasts, prayers, the Qur'an that he read, he was asking if none of them would help him. The Jahannam angels continued to drag him. They had gotten closer to the Hellfire. He looked back and these were his last pleas. Had not Rasulullah [saw] said, 'How clean would a person be who bathes in a river five times a day, so too does the Salah performed five times cleanse someone of their sins'? He began yelling, 'My prayers? my prayers? my prayers. ' The two angels did not stop, and they came to the edge of the abyss of Jahannam. The flames of the fire were burning his face. He looked back one last time, but his eyes were dry of hope and he had nothing left in him. One of the angels pushed him in. He found himself in the air and falling towards the flames. He had just fallen five or six feet when a hand grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back. He lifted his head and saw an old man with a long white beard. He wiped some dust off himself and asked him, 'Who are you?' The old man replied, 'I am your prayers'. 'Why are you so late! I was almost in the Fire! You rescued me at the last minute before I fell in'. The old man smiled and shook his head, 'You always performed me at the last minute, did you forget?' At that instant, he blinked and lifted his head from Sajdah. He was in a sweat. He listened to the voices coming from outside. He heard the adhan for Salat-ul Isha. He got up quickly and went to perform Wudhu. .

Story : Mom Sacrifice My mom only had one eye. I hated her... she was such an embarrassment. My mom ran a small shop at a flea market. She collected little weeds and such to sell... anything for the money we needed she was such an embarrassment. There was this one day during elementary school. I remember that it was field day, and my mom came. I was so embarrassed. How could she do this to me? I threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next day at school..."Your mom only has one eye?!" and they taunted me. I wished that my mom would just disappear from this world so I said to my mom, "Mom, why don't you have the other eye?! You're only going to make me a laughingstock. Why don't you just die?" My mom did not respond. I guess I felt a little bad, but at the same time, it felt good to think that I had said what I'd wanted to say all this time. Maybe it was because my mom hadn't punished me, but I didn't think that I had hurt her feelings very badly. That night...I woke up, and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. My mom was crying there, so quietly, as if she was afraid that she might wake me. I took a look at her, and then turned away. Because of the thing I had said to her earlier, there was something pinching at me in the corner of my heart. Even so, I hated my mother who was crying out of her one eye. So I told myself that I would grow up and become successful, because I hated my one-eyed mom and our desperate poverty. Then I studied really hard. I left my mother and came to Seoul and studied, and got accepted in the Seoul University with all the confidence I had. Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. Then I had kids, too. Now I'm living happily as a successful man. I like it here because it's a place that doesn't remind me of my mom. This happiness was getting bigger and bigger, when someone unexpected came to see me "What?! Who's this?!" ...It was my mother...Still with her one eye. It felt as if the whole sky was falling apart on me. My little girl ran away, scared of my mom's eye. And I asked her, "Who are you? I don't know you!!!" as if I tried to make that real. I screamed at her "How dare you come to my house and scare my daughter! GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!" And to this, my mother quietly answered, "oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address," and she disappeared. Thank good ness... she doesn't recognize me. I was quite relieved. I told myself that I wasn't going to care, or think about this for the rest of my life. Then a wave of relief came upon me...one day, a letter regarding a school reunion came to my house. I lied to my wife saying that I was going on a business trip. After the reunion, I went down to the old shack, that I used to call a house...just out of curiosity there, I found my mother fallen on the cold ground. But I did not shed a single tear. She had a piece of paper in her hand.... it was a letter to me. She wrote: My son... I think my life has been long enough now. And... I won't visit Seoul anymore... but would it be too much to ask if I wanted you to come visit me once in a while? I miss you so much. And I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I decided not to go to the school.... For you... I'm sorry that I only have one eye, and I was an embarrassment for you. You see, when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn't stand watching you having to grow up with only one eye... so I gave you mine...I was so proud of my son that was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye. I was never upset at you for anything you did. The couple times that you were angry with me. I thought to myself, 'it's because he loves me.' I miss the times when you were still young around me. I miss you so much. I love you. You mean the world to me. My world shattered!!! Then I cried for the person who lived for me... My Mother

THE TEARS OF RASULULLAH (S.A).... Suddenly, there was a person said salaam. "May I come in?" he asked. But Fatimah did not allow him enter the room. "I'm sorry, my father is ill," said Fatimah turned her body back and closed the door. She went back to her father who had opened his eyes and asked Fatimah, "Who was he, my daughter?" "I don't know, my father. It was the first time for me to see him," Fatimah said gently. Then, Rasulullah ( s.a) looked at his daughter with trembled look, as if he wanted to reminisce about every part of her daughter's face. "Know one thing! He is who erases the temporary pleasure; he is who separates the companionship in the world. He is the death angel," said Rasulullah(s.a) . Fatimah bore the bomb of her cry. The death angel came toward him, But Rasulullah (s.a) asked why Jibril did not come along with him. Then, Jibril was called. Jibril was ready in the sky to welcome the soul of Habibullah and the leader of the earth. "O Jibril, explain me about my rights in front of ALLAH?" Rasulullah (s.a) asked with a weakest voice. "The doors of sky has opened, the angels are waiting for your soul." "All jannats open widely waiting for you," Jibril said. But, in fact, those all did not make Rasulullah (s.a) relieve, his eyes were still full of worry. "You are not happy to hear this news?" asked Jibril. "Tell me about the destiny of my people in future?" "Don't worry, o Rasul ALLAH (s.a) . I heard ALLAH told me: 'I make jannat haram for every one, except the people of Muhammad are inside it," Jibril said. It became closer and closer, the time for Malaekat Izrail to do his work. Slowly, Rasulullah's (s.a) soul was pulled. It was seemed that the body of Rasulullah (s.a) was full of sweat; the nerves of his neck became tight. "Jibril, how pain this sakaratul maut is!" Rasulullah (s..a) uttered a groan slowly. Fatimah closed her eyes, Ali (r..a) sat beside her bow deeply and Jibril turned his face back. "Am I repugnant to you that you turn your face back o Jibril?" Rasulullah (s.a) asked to the Deliverer of Wahyu. "Who is the one who could see the Habibullah in his sakaratul maut," Jibril said. Not for a while, Rasulullah (s.a) uttered a groan because of unbearable pain. "O ALLAH, how greatest is this sakaratul maut. Give me all these pains, don't to my people.." The body of Rasulullah ( s.a ) became cold, his feet and chest did not move anymore. His lips vibrated as if he wanted to say something, Ali took his ear close to Rasulullah (s.a) . "Uushiikum bis salati, wa maa malakat aimanuku take care the salaat and take care the weak people among you." Outside the room, there were cries shouted each other, sahabah held each other. Fatimah closed her face with her hands and, again, Ali (r.a) took his ear close to Rasulullah's ( s.a) mouth which became bluish. "Ummatii, ummatii, ummatii?" "My people, my people, my people." And the life of the noble man ended. Could we love each other like him? Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa baarik wa salim 'alaihi. How deep is Rasulullah's (s.a) love to us.

This is what True Love is all about: It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 a.m., when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him look at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer' s Disease . As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised, and asked him, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are? " He smiled as he patted my hand and said, " She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is." I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life." True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

A Beautiful Hadith Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased. When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer(names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, 'He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise '. Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, 'I am the Qur'an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you will have no grief.' When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk. Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the Qur'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel.' Please keep forwarding this 'Hadith' to all .....because Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse'. May Allah bestow this favour on all of us. AMEEN SAYINGS (HADITH) OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) The one who disdains prayers (Salat) will receive Fifteen punishments from Allah.. Six punishments in this lifetime Three while dying Three in the grave & Three on the Day of Judgment. THE SIX PUNISHMENTS OF LIFE 1. Allah takes away blessings from his age (makes his life misfortunate) 2. Allah does not accept his plea (Dua's) 3. Allah erases the features of good people from his face. 4. He will be detested by all creatures on earth. 5. Allah does not reward him for his good deeds. (No thawab) 6. He will not be included in the Dua's of good people. THE THREE PUNISHMENTS WHILE DYING : 1. He dies humiliated. 2. He dies hungry. 3. He dies thirsty. Even if he drinks the water of all seas he will still be thirsty. THE THREE PUNISHMENTS IN THE GRAVE : 1. Allah tightens his grave until his chest ribs come over each other. 2. Allah pours on him fire with embers. 3. Allah sets on him a snake called 'the brave', 'the bold' which hits him from morning until afternoon for leaving Fajr prayer, from the afternoon until Asr for leaving Dhuhr prayer and so on. With each strike he sinks 70 yards under the ground. THE THREE PUNISHMENTS ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT : 1. Allah sends who would accompany him to hell pulling him on the face. 2. Allah gives him an angry look that makes the flesh of his face fall down. 3. Allah judges him strictly and orders him to be thrown in hell. ---------------------------------------------- THOSE WHO DO NOT SAY THEIR PRAYERS OF: FAJR : the glow of their face is taken away. ZUHR : the blessing of their income is taken away. ASR : the strength of their body is taken away. MAGHRIB : they are not benefited by their children. 'ISHA : the peace of their sleep is taken away. ------------------------------------------------- THE HOLY QUR'AN: 'Say Your Prayers Before Prayers For You Are Said'.

I was born in a secluded village on a mountain. Day by day my parents plowed the yellow dry soil with their backs facing the sky. I have a younger brother, 3 years younger than me.
Once, to buy a handkerchief which all girls around me seemed to have, I stole 50 cents from my father's drawer. Father knew about it right away. He made my younger brother and me kneel against the wall, with a bamboo stick in his hand.
"Who stole the money?" he asked. I was stunned, too afraid to talk. Father didn't hear
any of us admit, so he said, "Fine, if nobody wants to admit, you two should be beaten!"
He lifted up the bamboo stick. Suddenly, my younger brother gripped father's hand
and said," Dad, I was the one who did it!"
The long stick smacked on my brother's back repeatedly.
Father was so angry that he kept on whipping my brother until he lost his breath.
After that, he sat down on our stone bed and scolded my brother, "You have learned to steal from your own house now, what other embarrassing things you will do in the future? You should be beaten to death! You shameless thief!"
That night, mother and I hugged my brother. His body full of injuries, but he didn't shed a single tear.
In the middle of the night, all of a sudden I cried out loudly. My brother covered my mouth with his little hand and said, "Sis, now don't cry anymore. Everything has happened."
I still hate myself for I didn't have enough courage to admit what I had done.
Years gone by, but the incident still seemed like it just happened yesterday.
I will never forget my brother's expression when he protected me.
That year, my brother was 8 years old, I was 11 years old.
When my brother was in his last year of his lower secondary school, he was accepted in an upper secondary school in the central. At the same time, I was accepted into a province's university.
That night, father squatted in the yard, smoking, packet by packet.
I heard him say, "Both our children have good results? very good results?"
Mother wiped off her tears and sighed," What is the use? How can we possibly finance both of them?"
At that time, my brother walked out, he stood in front of father and said,"Dad, I don't want to continue my study anymore, I have read enough books."
Father swung his hand and slapped brother on his face.
"Why do you have a spirit so damn weak? Even if it means I have to beg for money on the streets, I will send you two to school until you both finish your study!"
And then, he started to knock on every house in the village to borrow money.
I stuck out my hand as soft as I can to my brother's swollen face, and said, "A boy has to continue his studies. If not, he will not be able to leave this depths of poverty."
Me, on the other hand, had decided not to further my study in the university.
Who knows on the next day, before dawn, my brother left the house with a few pieces of worn-out clothes and a few dry beans. He sneaked to the side of my bed and left a note on my pillow, "Sis, getting into a university is not easy. I will go find a job and send money to you."
I held the note while sitting on my bed, and cried until I lost my voice.
That year, my brother was 17 years old, I was 20.
With the money father borrowed from the whole village, and money my brother earned from carrying cement on his back at construction sites, finally, I managed to get to the third year of my study in the university.
One day, I was studying in my room, when my roommate came in and told me,"There's a villager wait for you outside!" Why is there a villager looking for me? I walked out, and saw my brother from afar. His whole body is dirty, covered with dust, cement and sands. I asked him, "Why didn't you tell my roommate that you are my brother?"
He replied with a smile,"Look at my appearance. What will they think if they know that I am your brother? Don't they laugh at you?"
I felt so touched, and tears filled my eyes. I swept away dusts from my brother's body and said with a lump in my throat, "I don't care of what people say! You are my brother no matter what your appearance is!"
From his pocket, he took out a butterfly hair clip. He put it on me, and said, "I saw all the girls in town are wearing it. So, I think you should also have one."
I could not hold back myself anymore. I pulled my brother into my arms and cried and cried.
That year, my brother was 20 years old; I was 23.
The first time I brought my boyfriend home, the broken window had been repaired. And it looked so clean inside the house.
After, my boyfriend went home, I danced like a small girl in front of my mother, "Mom, you don't have to spend so many time cleaning the house!" But she said with a smile," It was your brother who went home early to clean the house. Didn't you see the wound on his hand? He was injured while replacing the window."
I went into my brother's small bedroom. Looking at his thin face, I felt like there are hundreds of needle pricked in my heart.
I put some ointment on his wound and bandaged it. "Does it hurt?" I asked him.
"No, it doesn't hurt. You know, when I was working in the construction site, stones fall on my feet all the time. Even that could not stop me from working."
In the middle of the sentence, he stopped. I turned my back on him and tears roll down my face.
That year, my brother was 23 years old; I was 26.
When I got married, I lived in the city. Lots of time my husband invited my parents to come and live with us, but they didn't want to.
They said, once they leave the village, they don't know what to do.
My brother also didn't agree, he said, "Sis, you just take care of your parents-in-law. I will take care of mom and dad here."
My husband became the director in his factory. We wanted my brother to get a job as a manager in the department of maintenance. But my brother rejected the offer. He insisted on starting to work as a reparation worker.
One day, my brother was on top of a ladder repairing a cable, when he got electrocuted, and was sent to the hospital.
My husband and I visited him. Looking at the white gypsum on his leg, I grumbled,"Why did you reject to be a manager? A manager will not do something dangerous
like this. Look at you now, such a serious injury. Why you didn't want to listen to us?"
With a serious expression on his face, he defended on his decision, "Think of brother-in-law. He just became the director, and I'm almost uneducated. If I became the manager, what kind of rumors will fly around?"
My husband's eyes filled up with tears, and then I said, "But you lack in education also because of me!"
"Why talk about the past?" My brother held my hand.
That year, he was 26 years old and I was 29.
My brother was 30 years old when he married a farmer girl from the village. In his wedding reception, the master of ceremonies asked him, "Who is the one you respect and love the most?"
Without thinking, he answered," My sister." He continued by telling a story I could not even remember.
"When I was in primary school, the school was in different village. Everyday, my sister and I walked for 2 hours to go to school and go home. One day, I lost one of my pair of gloves. My sister gave me one of hers. She only wore one glove and walked for so far. When we got home, her hand was trembling because of the weather that was so cold that she could not even hold her chopsticks. From that day on, I swore that as long as I live, I would take care of my sister and be good to her."
Applause filled up the room. All guests turned their attentions to me.
Words were so hard to come out from my mouth, "In my whole life, the one I would like to thank the most is my brother."
And in this happy occasion,in front of the crowd, tears roll down my face again.
Love and care for the one you love every single day of your life. You may think what you did is just a small deed, but to that someone, it may mean a lot.
Have a nice day everyone! May this story inspire you in any way!

Very interesting findings of
Dr. Tariq Al Swaidan
might grasp your attention:
Dr.Tari q Al Swaidan discovered some
verses in the
Holy Qur'an
That mention one thing is equal to
another,
i.e. men are equal to women .
Although this makes sense
grammatically,
the astonishing fact is that the
number of
times the word man appears in
the Holy Qur'an
is 24 and number of times the word
woman appears is also 24,
therefore not only is this phrase
correct in
the grammatical sense but also true
mathematically,
i.e. 24 = 24.
Upon further analysis of various
verses,
he discovered that this is consistent
throughout the whole
Holy Qur'an
where it says one thing is like
another.
See below for astonishing result of
the words mentioned number of times in
Arabic
Holy Qur'an
Dunia (one name for life) 115 .
Aakhirat (one name for the life after
this world) 115
Malaika (Angels) 88 . Shayteen (Satan)
88
Life 145 ...... Death 145
Benefit 50 . Corrupt 50
People 50 .. Messengers 50
Eblees (king of devils) 11 . Seek
refuge
from Eblees 11
Museebah (calamity) 75 . Thanks ! 75
Spending (Sadaqah) 73 . Satisfaction 73
People who are mislead 17 .D Dead

Mind 49 .N Noor 49
Tongue 25 .S Sermon 25

Speaking publicly 18 .P Publicising 18
Hardship 114 .... Patience 114
Muhammed 4 .S Sharee'ah ( Muhammed's
teachings) 4
Man 24 . Woman 24
And amazingly enough have a look how
many times
the following words appear:
Salat 5 , Month 12 , Day 365 ,
Sea 32 , Land 13
Sea + land = 32 + 13 = 45
Sea = 32/45*100q.=71.11111111%
Land = 13/45*100 = 28.88888889%
Sea + land 100.00%
Modern science has only recently proven
that the water covers
71.111% of the
earth, while the land covers 28.889%.
Is this a coincidence? Question is that
Who taught Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) all
this?
Reply automatically comes in mind that
ALMIGHTY ALLAH
taught him.
This as the
Holy Qur'an
also tells us this.
Aayah 87 of Suraa (Chapter) Al-Anbia !

He met her at a party. She was so beautiful, many guys were chasing
after her, while he was so plain and simple, nobody paid attention to
him.
At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was
surprised, but to be polite, she consented. They went to a nice coffee
shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable,
she thought, please, let me go home.... suddenly he asked the waiter.
"would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."
Everybody stared at him, How strange! His face turned red, but still, he
put the salt in his coffee and drank it.
She asked him curiously; why you have salt in your coffee? He replied:
"when I was a little boy, I lived near the sea, I like playing in the
sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty
coffee.
Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood,
think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who
still live there". While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was
deeply touched.
That's his true feelings, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can
share his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about
home, has ties to his home.
Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her
childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful
beginning of their story.
They continued to date. She found that he was actually a man who meets
all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He
was such a good person but she almost missed knowing him! Thanks to his
salty coffee!
The story ended just like every beautiful love story , the princess
married the prince, then they lived happily ever after... And, every
time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in it, as she knew
that's the way he liked it.
After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: "My
dearest, please forgive me, I have been lying my whole life. This was
the only lie I told you---the salty coffee.
Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time,
actually I
wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It was hard for me to change it,
so I
just went ahead.I never thought that could be the start of our
conversation! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I
was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you about
anything. Now I'm dying, I'm afraid of nothing so I can tell you the
truth:
I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste.. But I have
had
the salty coffee for my whole life!
Since I met you, I don't ever feel sorry for everything I did for you. "
Having you with me is the biggest thrill of my whole life. If I can live
a second time around, I would still want to know you and have you for
the rest of my life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again".
Her tears made the letter totally wet. One day, someone asked her: how
did the salty coffee taste? It was very sweet, she replied.
Love is not to forget but to forgive, not to see but to understand, not
to hear but to listen, not to let go but to HOLD ON !!!!
Don't ever leave the one you love for the one you like, because the one
you like will leave you for the one they love.Forget the things that make you sad .... Remember the things that make
you glad.
Everybody stare more...

Marriage is not a word. It is a sentence--a life sentence.
Marriage is very much like a violin; after the sweet music is over, the strings are attached.
Marriage is love. Love is blind. Therefore, marriage is an institution for the blind.
Marriage is an institution in which a man loses his Bachelor's Degree and the woman gets her Masters.
Marriage is a thing which puts a ring on a woman's finger and two under the man's eyes.
Marriage certificate is just another word for a work permit.
Marriage is not just a having a wife, but also worries inherited forever.
Marriage requires a man to prepare 4 types of "rings":
* The Engagement Ring
* The Wedding Ring
* The Suffe-Ring
* The Endu-Ring
Married life is full of excitement and frustration:
* In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens.
* In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens.
* In the third year, they both speak and the neighbors listen.
It is true that love is blind but marriage is definitely an eye-opener.
Getting married is very much like going to the restaurant with friends. You order what you want, and when you see what the other fellow has, you wish you had ordered that.
It's true that all men are born free and equal, but some of them get married!
There was this man who muttered a few words in the church and found himself married. A year later he muttered something in his sleep and found himself divorced.
A happy marriage is a matter of giving and taking; the husband gives and the wife takes.
Son: How much does it cost to get married, Dad?
Father: I don't know son, I'm still paying for it.
Son: Is it true? Dad, I heard that in ancient China, a man doesn't know his wife until he marries.
Father: That happens everywhere, son, everywhere!
Love is one long sweet dream, and marriage is the alarm clock.
They say when a man holds a woman's hand before marriage, it is love; after marriage, it is self-defense.
When a newly married man looks happy, we know why. But when a ten-year married man looks happy, we wonder why.
There was this lover who said that he would go through hell for her. They got married, and now he is going through hell.
A husband is living proof that a wife can take a joke.

Good morning, Ladies and Gentlemen. This is your captain welcoming both seated and standing passengers on board of Air Deccan.
We apologize for the four-day delay in taking off, it was due to bad weather and partly due to the search for a missing tyre.

Air Deccan has an excellent safety-record. In fact, our safety standards are so high, that even terrorists are afraid to fly with us! It is with pleasure; I announce that, starting this year, over 30% of our Passengers have reached their destination.
If our engines are too noisy for you, on passenger request, we can arrange to turn them off. To make your free fall to earth pleasant and m emorable, we serve Complimentary DHARU and Wada pavw. For our not-so-religious passengers, we are the only airline who can help you find out if there really is a God!
We regret to inform you, that today's in-flight movie will not be shown as we forgot to record it from the television. However, for our movie buffs, we will be flying right next to Kingfisher Airline, where their movie will be visible from the right side of the cabin window.
There is no smoking allowed in this airplane. Any smoke you see in the Cabin is only the early warning system on the engines telling us to slow down!
In order to catch important landmarks, we try to fly as close as possible. For the best view, if however, we go a little too close, do let us know. Our enthusiastic co-pilot sometimes flies right through the landmark!
Kindly be seated, keep your seat in an upright position for take-off and fasten your seat-belt. For those of you who can't find a seat-belt, kindly Fasten your own belt to the arm of your seat. And, for those of you who can't find a seat, do not hesitate to get in touch with a stewardess who will explain how to fasten yourself to your suitcase.
